This week we had a blast with our camp favorite the Powerhouse Dance Party. All the kids learned different dances then got to show off their moves with a dance party. It was so much fun! Next week we are looking forward to more dancing with our first ever “So You Think You Can Dance?” talent show!

Sr. Camp. Parent Day
Sr. Camp Parent Day: Parents are welcome to come to camp at lunch time (12:15 PM), have lunch with their camper and then do all the fun activities that your campers group is doing. You are able to come be a camper as well. That means you should bring your bathing suit and water shoes. It will give you a chance to come see what your camper does everyday at camp! Hope to see you then! Please RSVP if you are or you think you are coming to be sure we have enough pizza. Any questions please contact the office!
Just a few reminders:
• Be sure to send in water shoes with your child everyday. They need to wear them for water park and whenever they are in the creek.
• Please do not send your children in crocs for their main camp shoes, since they are not staying on the children’s feet and they become very slippery when wet. If you could please send your child to camp everyday with tied sneakers. Also no flip flops!!!!
• We have limited space in the refrigerators, so could you please send your child’s lunch in a brown bag with their name on it. We do refrigerate all lunches; you do not have to worry about them staying cold until lunch time!
• Please be sure to apply sunscreen in the morning before coming to camp.
• Attached is the Pat’s Lunch Order From—must be turned in on Monday and cash or the check made payable to Malvern Day Camp.

	Tadpoles-
	We are in our 7th week of camp and what an exciting week it as been. We are enjoying the cooler weather. What a fun time during parent’s day, we worked together as a team and beat our parents in soccer, we cooled off with a dip in the pool only to get out and race our parents to the finish line on the race track. We can’t wait to see what week 8 has in store for us!
	Turtles-
	We cannot believe it is week 7! We kick started the week with a Human Board game that Jr camp played together. Tuesday we were excited to have our parents get to partake in our day with us. It was also our Beach and Luau party were we had slushees and competed in a limbo contest. Friday we danced our hearts out at the Power House Dance party and had so much fun! See everyone next week
	Geckos-
	The Geckos had a fantastic 7th week of camp. This week we played a Human Board game which was so cool!! The Geckos team won 1st place! We also want to thank all the parents that came out and hung out with us on Tuesday. It was so much fun!!! We also built volcanoes at nature where they used sand and waster to build a volcano around the recycled water bottle. We all loved watching it explode at the end. Finally, Friday brought the dance party and it was so much fun. We were so tired at the end of the day. We cannot wait to see everyone on Monday again!
	Frogs-
	Week 7 was another great week for all of the frogs at Malvern Day Camp. On Monday, the kids competed against all of their friends in the Human Board game. Then on Tuesday, the kids enjoyed a beach and luau party and the company of their parents. Slushees were enjoyed by everyone for snack on the hot afternoon! On Friday, the kids showed off their dance skills at the Powerhouse dance Party and the frogs particularly enjoyed playground, water park, and free swim this week. We are looking forward to more fun and laughs as we roll into August.
	Toads-
	Week 7 of camp was another fun filled adventure at camp. This week the toads took part in an interactive human board game. It was so much fun and we competed against all of the other members of jr. camp. On Tuesday, our parents came to camp and were made honorary members of the Malvern Day Camp for the day. It was so much fun to splash around, play on the kickball field, and just hang out with our relatives. This Friday, was by far the best day because the Power House dance party came to camp and we learned a new dance to Justin Bieber’s “Baby”! It was AWESOME!! See everyone next week.
	Snakes-
	The snakes had a fun filled week compete with a Game of Human Game Board, slushees, limbo, a luau, and POWERHOUSE DANCE PARTY! For many of the snakes the highlight of the week was having their parents come visit for the afternoon on Tuesday. A great time was had by all! AS a group, we have been continuing one theme of respecting each other and treating others how we would like to be treated. The snakes are really coming together to form a close knit group and making many memories of our days together at Malvern Day Camp.
	Lizards-
	This week was a much cooler week for the Lizards. Tuesday was a very special day for our campers. They got to enjoy half the day with their parents, which was a lot of fun for everyone. The kids also got to participate in Karate and dance clinic that took place all week. On Friday the lizards got to enjoy a chicken finger lunch, which all the campers were excited about. The summer is flying by, but there is still so much to do before camp is over, and we are sure the kids will have an awesome time. !
	Alligators-
	The Alligators had a solid week 7. At nature we all enjoyed a treasure hunt looking for various items in the nature trail. On Friday, we had chicken fingers and had a giant dance party in the gym. It was such a great week jam packed with many fun and exciting things. We all enjoyed karate clinic and dance clinic. It was awesome!!! See everyone next week.
	Crocodiles-
	Week 7 at camp has been a blast. We began our fun at the Human Board game challenge. Tuesday, we enjoyed slushees and limbo while our parents joined us in our fun. Over the next few days, we acted out ways that we can respect one another. It was a fantastic week for the crocodiles and we especially enjoyed the Power House Dance party!

	Rookies-
	This week the Rookies enjoyed the nice weather by participating in the dance and karate clinic. Also the Rookies used their minds and skill during the Human Board game. With a lot of dancing this week they will be participating in the Power House Dance Party. We had so much fun enjoying the cooler weather this week. See everyone back in action next week!
	All Stars-
	This week the Allstars really enjoyed the Human Board Game! We also limboed and had some slushees to cool off on the hot day. Finally, we had a blasting learning choreographed and dancing around at the Power House Dance Party. Next week we have a lot of fun in store from the Talent Show to Senior Camp Parent day .We hope to see you all there! td>
	Champs-
	Although it was not as hot this week, the champs endured another sun and fun filled week. Monday we had the Human Board game show where the champs participated in some dance-offs, trivia, and weird talents. Tuesday we had a Luau party where we enjoyed limbo and slushees. Friday is the famous power house dance party where the Champs will show off what they got! Week 7 flew by as fast as the rest, where is the summer going?! See everyone next week! .
	Varsity-
	This week our group enjoyed a lot of fun and crazy activities. We kicked off the wee k with a human board game and we competed in various activities and questions against all of sr. camp. It was a lot of fun!! The rest of the week consisted of dance and karate clinics along with a giant dance party! It was one of our favorite weeks and camp and we even had some cool weather. I can’t believe next week is week 8. See everyone then!
	Sr. Varsity-
	This week Sr. Varsity enjoyed The Human Board Game. They tested their knowledge of pop culture and competed against the rest of Sr. Camp. We also enjoyed the visit from our friends at Power House Dance Party and busted some new moves on the dance floor. Also, we tried our skills at the limbo surprising, we can get pretty low! Have a great weekend and remember Sr. Camp parent day is next Friday! We hope to see you there!
	CIT-
	This week the CIT’s enjoyed some great games of handball, soccer, and mat ball. The CIT’s continue to do a great job working with their groups in the mornings. We were so excited for the dance party on Friday and everyone got to enjoy yummy chicken fingers. Next week we will show off our top cooking skills at the cooking clinic. See you then!

Iron Kid Week!!! This week has showed how competitive all of the campers are. They competed in trivia games, water balloon toss, Gaga, Home-Run derby, and much more! The campers had so much fun coming up with their team names and designing their team flag! The kids had an awesome week!!! Looking forward to fun-filled weeks to come!

Jr. Camp Parent Day: Parents are welcome to come to camp at lunch time (11:35AM), have lunch with their camper and then do all the fun activities that your campers group is doing. You are able to come be a camper as well. That means you should bring your bathing suit and water shoes. It will give you a chance to come see what your camper does everyday at camp! 	Red Devils-
	Iron Kid games were in full swing this week. The Red Devils were fierce competitors who showed a lot of spirit! Throughout the week we learned about cooperation, team work, and good sportsmanship. Our favorite games we played were: tug-o-war, capture the pig, gaga, and the balloon toss. All week we had a blast getting our faces painted red and wearing our team color. Next week we look forward to the Giant Double Slip and Slide and the Talent show! See you then!!
	Yellow Bus-
	The Yellow Bus had a great week full of many victories and a lot of fun! The Yellow Bus started off the week in first place and remained in the top three for the remainder of the week. The Yellow Bus is gaining a great deal of momentum with recent victories over the Purple Power and Blue Smurfs is looking to take first place from the Pink Piranhas. Most important, the Yellow Bus is having so much fun with the competitions. Every member of the Bus team has contributed to the success and unity of our team!
	Purple Power-
	We are the Purple Power could be heard all throughout the camp this week. Iron Kid had started off on Monday with a bang and did not stop. Each group had a mix of kids from junior camp ranging from Tadpoles to Alligators. The purple power meshed really well together which led us to winning most of the activities. By far the Spelling Bee had gotten the most intense. A rival between the Purple Power and Pink Piranhas had formed, but win or lose the Purple Power was always loud and very excited. This was everyone’s favorite week of camp by far!!
	Pink Piranhas-
	This week is a traditional competition at Malvern Day Camp, called Iron Kid. The Pink Piranhas team was assembled on Monday and was compromised of many determined and excited campers. Each team was made up of campers from numerous groups so all the teams varied in age. The Pink team started slow only coming in 5th place after the opening ceremonies, but we battled back and had a great rest of the week. We loved Iron Kid week so much and met lots of new friends!
	Orange Crush-
	This week was our annual Iron Kid competition. The kids were broke up into six teams and created a team flag, name, and song. Tuesday started the competitive part of the week as the Orange Crush competed in games like capture the pig, tug-o-war, spelling bee, double dare, trivia, gaga, kick ball, and home run derby. It was such a good week that ended with an awesome awards ceremony on Friday!
	Blue Smurfs-
	This week the Blue Smurfs faced obstacles and events that only true iron kids could handle having competed in so many crazy competitions. The Blue Smurfs also had to go play tug-o-war against one of our Rivals the Orange Crush and all of the Blue Smurfs put up a strong fight and did a very good job. This was a great week for our team and we really enjoyed meeting lots of new friends. See everyone for week six!

	Green Gangsters-
	Iron Kid has been a whirlwind for the green team! We started off on the lower side of the standings and slowly worked our way up. After making our flag and chant the first day, we competed against other teams in activities such as capture the pig, homerun derby, tug-o-war, trivia, and even Double Dare. As we continue to climb the board we are curious to see the final results. Go Green Gangsters!.
	Navy Fire Buckets-
	The 2010 defending Iron Kid champions are in pursuit of another title this year. As of Tuesday and Wednesday our team was in first place thanks to the hard work and dedication of all our campers. The Navy Fire Bucks made a very strong showing at the end of the competition but more importantly, we had a lot of fun! td>
	Black Widows-
	This week the kids enjoyed playing multiple games to win Iron Kid. The Black Widow Spiders won many games including Double Dare, Kickball, and Gaga. They also tied in trivia and tug-o-war. The competition was tough but the Black widows tried their hardest and used good sportsmanship throughout the day.! .
	Silver Storm-
	Silver Storm surged from the first day of the Iron Kid competition and has maintained itself at the top of the pack all week. Coaches Chip, Becca, Chris, and Josh attributed the stellar scoring to superior spirit and sportsmanship as well as exceptional athletic ability. Storm highlights include dominating capture the pig, an epic tug-o-war battle, and defeating the first place Navy Fire Buckets in Double Dare. Malvern Day Camp Iron Kid week was so much fun! See you next week!!!
	Teal Steel-
	The teal team counselors consisted of Tim, Tom, and Taylor. The alliteration worked out very nicely. Even though we might not have won many events, all competitions were won or lost by a close margin of points. The Teal Steel showed tons of teams spirit and won a lot of spirit points from all the judges. We had so much fun and will miss all of our Teal Steal friends.
	Garnet Grenades-
	This past week campers competed in Malvern Day Camp’s annual Iron Kid competition. We competed in various activities and had so much fun showing our Garnet team spirit. All the kids enjoyed being with new friends, wearing garnet clothes, and just loving the competition. We can’t wait to go back to our group next week! See you all then! td>

What a wonderful week 4. We played a popular TV show…Amazing Race. It consisted of the kids traveling (running) to different countries where they had to complete a task, then once they completed their task they then got a new clue to move onto their new country. Once they had completed all their tasks and filled their passport, they had completed the game. Everyone was a winner….they all got to enjoy some yummy popsicles! On Friday, not only did we enjoy some pizza, we also had a very popular waterslide. The Wild Rapids is truly the favorite waterslide of all campers and staff! We are all looking forward to our camper color wars-IRON KID WEEK!!!!!!

	Tadpoles-
	Week four went by so fast! The week started with the 4th of July which meant, unfortunately that we did not have camp on Monday. But the week really started with Around the World activity on Wednesday and then the Amazing Race on Thursday. The children are really starting to get into a groove at camp; they are starting to notice the nuances of our schedule and activities resulting in having even more fun! Week five, here we come!!
	Turtles-
	Week four was another fun filled week! This week our favorite activity was competing in the Amazing Race. During this we received clues to go to various parts of the camp. Each location was a different country and had an exciting challenge for us to complete before receiving our next clue. As we went along, we got a new stamp on our passport! The turtles came in 4th place! Have a great weekend and see you next week!
	Geckos-
	Even though we had a short week the Geckos had a fun time on Wednesday when we learned about different counties as we went to each activity. On Thursday, we competed in the Amazing Race and we ran all over camp searching for clues about different countries. It was just like being on the show! Friday was the best day at camp when the Wild Rapids waterslide came and we ate pizza for lunch! This week was a lot of fun. One of our Gecko friends saw a crayfish at nature! It was so cool! We are all looking forward to Iron Kid week next week. It is going to be a week filled with meeting new friends and playing lots of cool games!
	Frogs-
	This week was only a four day week which was kind of a bummer, but the Frogs made sure to make everyday even more jam-packed with FUN! Our favorite activity this week was Gaga. The Frogs also now know how to show respect and also what respect looks like. This lesson really helped during the Amazing Race when we had to work together to figure out the clues. We learned about all the different countries and we so excited to learn more. The Frogs are very well traveled and ready to see the world. We cannot wait for more adventures this summer and Iron Kid next week! See you then!!!
	Toads-
	This week during camp the campers enjoyed a variety of activities, some of which included an Amazing Race activity where the campers completed activities at different countries to compete against each other. The campers also learned some interesting facts about various countries in our world. Also, on Friday, the kids enjoyed yummy pizza and sliding down our Wild Rapids water slide. Next week is Iron Kid week and all the campers are looking forward to finding out what group they are in and who they will be competing with. See you next week
	Snakes-
	This week the snakes had a great time participating in Around the World and the Amazing Race group competitions. The snakes are a great group and everyone was excited to answer the trivia questions, follow the clues, and find the final destination. On Friday, the Snakes enjoyed the Wild Rapids water slide and pizza day!!! We had a great time playing drip-drip-drop during our free periods as we tried to stay cool. As part of the RESPECT program we had a circle discussion about what qualifies as an act of bullying and how we should respond if we experience bullying. Although this week was a short one, it was jam packed with lots of fun! See you during week 5!
	Lizards-
	This week was a HOT one. We started this week on Day 4. The kids had a lot of fun this week. In water park all the kids were running around splashing water on each other and having fun cooling off! Also, when we had waterfront all the kids paired up and went on the kayaks together! For athletics we have had mat ball and soccer this week. While playing soccer the kids had a great game versus the Alligators and the kids got very into the game. We played a great game but lost by 1 point! We hope to rematch them next week. We can’t wait for Iron Kid week next week! See ya then! !
	Alligators-
	This week was a short week for the Alligators, but we still packed it with plenty of fun things! We got to learn about different countries from around the world and play different games related to that country. We also got to enjoy the special event and everyone’s favorite water slide: WILD RAPIDS!!! Lastly, we enjoyed exploring the waterfront, walking on the nature trail, and exploring Malvern Day Camp. Overall the Alligators had a fun week and we are looking forward to Iron Kid next week!
	Crocodiles-
	Although it was a short week, the Crocs had an enjoyable time at camp. We played a lot of athletics such as gaga, soccer, and basketball. On Wednesday we learned clues about countries from around the world. We then put this new information to great use when we raced around the camp and competed as a group in the Amazing Race. The Wild Rapids made an appearance on Friday and it was so much fun!!! It was the great end to a perfect week. The Crocodiles cannot wait for Iron Kid next week!!!!

	Rookies-
	This week the Rookies enjoyed playing in the Amazing Race game show. They learned many things about different countries and completed various tasks to get a stamp on their passports. We also had a lot of fun playing Gaga, racing down the waterslide, eating pizza, and just enjoying Malvern Day Camp!! We cannot be more excited for Iron Kid.
	All Stars-
	Even with the holiday off the All-stars still had a very eventful week. Thursday we played the Amazing Race and learned about countries from all around the world. It was a hot one so we spent lots of time in the pool, the creek, and the water park. Next week marks the start of the Iron Kid games. Parents don’t forget to attend the awards ceremony on Friday 7/15! We hope to see you there! td>
	Champs-
	Camp has been flying by for the Champs! Having a short week, the Champs participated in an Around the World and Amazing Race competition where they answered questions about countries and completed activities to receive a stamp on their passport. On Friday, we had the FAMOUS Wild Rapids water slide and pizza day! It was awesome! We also played countless games of knock out, kickball, and went kayaking. We are looking forward to Iron Kid next week. See you then! .
	Varsity-
	This week Varsity had a great time. New additions to the group camp as other friends departed. Varsity enjoyed another week of great events. Like always, our days were filled with a great mix of athletics and the arts, while spending plenty of time recovering from the heat in the pool. New to camp this week was the introduction of the Amazing Race. Be sure to ask your campers all about it! As the week comes to a close, we are all anxiously awaiting next week: IRON KID WEEK!!
	Sr. Varsity-
	After the long July weekend, sr. varsity came back to camp ready for more fun. In addition to our regular schedule, we enjoyed an Around the World Activity where we learned all about different countries. Then we participated in the Amazing Race challenge. We followed clues that lead us to various challenges that advanced us to the next stop. Sr. Varsity won this activity! We look forward to iron kid next week! Enjoy your weekend!!
	CIT-
	This week the CITs enjoyed an Amazing Race but finished last as a result of lack of soccer skills. We’ll be working on that. We’ve also enjoyed an intense game of kickball and some extra time in the pool!! See ya’ll next week, don’t forget that sunscreen!!! td>

Wow what a Wild and Wacky Week! We kicked off Monday with a Wild-n-Wacky game show where counselors and campers competed in activities that resulted in pies to the face and gooey slime on a couple of lucky participates! On Tuesday, we had a little bit of rain in the morning but that didn’t stop us from having lots of fun, but it did postpone our Senior Camp theme day. On Wednesday the entire Senior Camp faced off against one another in the Malvern Day Camp’s version of “Minute to Win It” hosted by our very own Mr. Tom and Mr. Tim. Senior Camp had to do crazy activities like stack five apples on top of one another, roll marbles and have them stick to double sided tape, mummy wrap a counselor with streams, and much more! On Thursday the Junior Camp had a show come all the way from Tennessee! The “Scream and Shout” show came and we got to dance, sing, and shout!! It was so much fun!! Finally Friday came and we had the best 4th of July parade, ate yummy hamburgers and had red, white, and blue popsicles. We can’t wait for week 4!!

	Tadpoles-
	Man, week three flew by so quickly! Our big adventure this week was the Wild-n-Wacky game show!! Also, we are finding that the campers are beginning to become more comfortable with each other, which is making everyone enjoy camp even more!! Our favorite group activity is definitely mini golf, but we still have 7 weeks of fun packed group activities to come! We loved eating popsicles at the 4th of July parade and we can’t wait for all the fun next week! Enjoy your long weekend!
	Turtles-
	Another fun filled week has passed! We can’t believe it will already be approaching week 4! This week we had a special “Scream and Shout” show, where we all got to see a magic trick, learn dance moves, and even scream as loud as we could! In nature this week we had a special treasure hunt. We found six treasures by finding the locations on the treasure map. We all did a great job working together!! We all tried to learn how to play volleyball for the clinic this week. Friday was our 4th of July parade and we will celebrate America and enjoy hamburgers! Have a wonderful holiday weekend and enjoy! See you Tuesday!
	Geckos-
	This week the Geckos had lots of fun! We had three special events!! On Monday we had a Wild and Wacky game show. We took turns playing different events and sliming our friends! It was such a blast watching and participating in the show. We also had a special junior camp only show. It was called “Scream and Shout!!” We got to sign lots of great songs and be as loud as we could. On Friday, we had a 4th of July parade and we walked around the whole camp waving our flags. To cool off after the parade we enjoyed popsicles. This week the Geckos also enjoyed their regular activities. They loved playing with clay at arts and crafts too! The Geckos are so excited for more fun activities to come next week!!
	Frogs-
	Week 3 started out with a bang when the Wild-n-Wacky game show came on Monday! Many kids got prizes and the highlight was people getting pied in the face! The Respect program activity, building a respectful camp friendship, progressed along and we built a lot of new friendships. Both the boys and the girls get along and are beginning to become better friends. As always sports such as soccer and handball have been a group favorite although arts and crafts have become high up on the sought after activities. Our group was all willing to get up and sing during the Scream and Shout show! Coming into the high season, the frogs are ready for more camp adventures!
	Toads-
	This week during camp the campers enjoyed an interactive showed called the Wild-n-Wacky game show where many of the campers had the chance to pie counselors as well and get slimed in green goo! Along with the Wild and Wacky show the campers participated in a scream and shout show!! We also got to parade around camp with our red, white, and blue and eat YUMMY popsicles at snack! In the coming week there will be no camp on Monday but Tuesday will start off a fun filled week with Around the World, the Amazing Race and lots more! We can’t wait to see everyone next week!
	Snakes-
	The snakes had a great time this week while participating in their favorite Malvern Day Camp activities and two exciting shows! The first show the snakes saw and participated in was the Wild and Wacky game show on Monday. Several snakes were pied in the face and some of the counselors in return. On Snake even enjoyed a lovely bath of green slime. Everyone got the chance to participate in the game show and a good time was had by all! On Thursday, the Snakes attended the Scream and Shout show in which all of the snakes were on their feet singing, dancing, and traveling a great time! As part of the Respect program the snakes did an activity in which we all sat in a circle and said something nice about ht person sitting to our right. We can’t wait for next week!!
	Lizards-
	This week was a hot one at Malvern Day Camp. The kids took extra precaution and drank lots of water and applied sunscreen twice a day! The kids had a blast at the wild and wacky game show, the kids got the chance to pie other campers and win prizes! The kids also got to enjoy the Scream and Shout show where everyone showed off their voices. The Lizards specifically learned about Respect by breaking into small groups and acting out what it means to be respectful. We hope everyone enjoys the 4th of July weekend!! !
	Alligators-
	The Alligators had a great week at camp this week! Other than enjoying the beautiful weather, the Alligators were able to experience some special events. One thing was the Wacky-n-Wild game show where we got to participate in crazy activities and even get pied in the face. We also got to sing along in the Scream and Shout show! This week some alligators got to learn new skills at the volleyball clinic. Not only did they learn new skills and make new friends by they learned the rules and how to work with others in order to win. It was great to have all our friends this week and we can’t wait for next week for more fun and games!
	Crocodiles-
	Week 3 has been such a wild and wacky week for the crocodiles. It had begun as such since we attended the “Wild and Wacky Challenge” game show on Monday. We played crazy games and won prizes! We even got to pie and slime some of our friends and counselor. Tuesday was a rainy day but we didn’t let it get us down! We crocodiles also competed in “Minute to Win It” against the Rookies! Although we lost, we still had fun and played the trivial games that are on the show! We can’t wait for next week! Enjoy your weekend!!

	Rookies-
	This week the Rookies enjoyed the Wild-n-Wacky game show!! Some of us won prizes and others got pied in the face. Additional entertainment came from minute to win it challenges and events! We are continuing to work on the respect program and work together especially during sporting events. We are lots of burgers, celebrated the 4th of July, and ate popsicles to end the week! 	All Stars-
	This was a fun and exciting week for the All-Stars! We got slimed and pied at the Wild and Wacky game show, competed at Minute to Win It, and celebrated the 4th of July on Friday with our annual parade! Even though we had a rainy day, we still had lots fun doing activities like playing the RESPECT name game. We look forward to next week and the Amazing Race! Hope to see you there! td>
	Champs-
	What a week its been for the Champs! Monday started off with a band when the Champs attended the Wild and Wacky game show where many campers ( and unfortunately counselors) got pied! Wednesday, we had a Minute to Win It competition and Friday we had our annual 4th of July parade! In between we shot arrows, road on the racetrack, and kayaked! Have a great 4th of July! .
	Varsity-
	This week was full of fun and games. On Monday, we had the Wacky-n-Wild Challenge, where the kids got to pie and slime their friends. Tuesday had some rain but the kids stuck it out by playing fun word games and bonding activities in the gym. Wednesday, was minute to win it which included sticking marbles rolled over tape and rolling counselors in streams. Varsity beat Sr. Varsity in an overwhelming score of 7 to 2. IT WAS AWESOME! Friday we celebrated America’s birthday with hamburgers and a parade! See you next week!
	Sr. Varsity-
	Sr. Varsity kicked off week three with sports such as hand ball, soccer and capture the flag! We made bracelets in arts and crafts, then we headed to waterfront for some adventures and kayaking on the creek. Miss Chris set up a treasure hunt for us and then we went creek walking at nature. On Monday, we went to the Wild-n-Wacky game show and campers got to pie each other in the face after playing team games. Then we played Minute to Win It on Wednesday with Mr. Tom and Mr. Tim. Friday was so much fun celebrating July 4th and eating yummy hamburgers! See ya next week!
	CIT-
	The CIT’s this week enjoyed the Wacky-n-Wild game show! They also continued doing a great job assisting counselors and specialists in various activities in the morning. The CITs lost a tough soccer match versus Sr. Varsity and will be looking for redemption next week! Happy 4th of July everyone!! td>

Wow what an awesome week!!! We started off with karaoke on Monday and Tuesday. Everyone showed off their amazing voices and dance moves. On Wednesday we had J.P. Mascaro come to teach us all about RESPECT for our family, friends, and environment. We ended the week with a really fun slip and slide and some yummy chicken fingers! We can not believe that week 2 is already over and how much fun we are going to have through out the summer! We have so much planned!

Just a few reminders:
• Be sure to send in water shoes with your child everyday. They need to wear them for waterpark and whenever they are in the creek.
• We are trying to move away from crocs, since they are not staying on the children’s feet. If you could please send your child to camp everyday with tied sneakers. Also no flip flops!!!!
• We have limited space in the refrigerators, so could you please send your child’s lunch in a brown bag with their name on it. We do refrigerate all lunches, you do not have to worry about them staying cold until lunch time!
• Please be sure to apply sunscreen in the morning before coming to camp.

	Tadpoles-
	Oh boy! What a great week two it was for the Tadpoles! The campers are continuously adapting to camp life and with help from the RESPECT program they are getting even better with using their manners. We played a game this week where all the campers had to define what “respect” actually means, which all of the campers excelled at. But even with all of the excitement, we are all looking forward to nine more weeks of safe outdoor camp fun!!
	Turtles-
	It is week two and we are in full swing at MDC. On Tuesday, we celebrated the first official day of summer, where we sang and danced to our favorite karaoke songs. On Wednesday, we had an assembly about RESPECT and a surprise guest visit from Dumpo the elephant. He helped us remember how to show respect to ourselves, our friends, and even the environment. We even got prizes and an activity book for our participation. On Friday we had our famous Tropical Dual Slip and Slide, which we were SO EXCTIED for!! We did many other fun summertime activities throughout the week and had a wet and wild water fight as well. We can’t wait for week three!!
	Geckos-
	This week the Geckos enjoyed waterfront. They did a great job kayaking all on their own. They also enjoyed creek walking at nature. They caught lots of minnows, but their favorite thing to do is swim and splash around in the pool!! We also had lots of run and exciting special events this week. On Tuesday, we had karaoke day where the girls sang their own version of High School Musical. On Wednesday, we had a RESPECT program at the camp. We learned that we not only have to respect each other but also the Earth. We also practiced giving great handshakes because that’s a great way to introduce ourselves to other people! On Friday, we had a Tropical Dual Slip and Slide!! The Geckos raced each other down the slip and slide. It was such a blast. We can’t wait to see everyone next week!
	Frogs-
	This week was our first week as an official Frogs group. We had two special activities this week. The RESPECT program had a great impact on our campers and they are now using their manners towards each other. Karaoke day was a blast and we now have a good time singing around camp. Our group so far is meshing rather nicely and everyone is making new friends. Waterfront is our favorite activity because the campers love soaking the counselors. We are all extremely excited for our upcoming adventures in the upcoming weeks.
	Toads-
	This week the Toads enjoyed a variety of activities including dancing to karaoke, sliding down the dual slip and slide, listening to a guest speaker talk about respect and recycling in an assembly. The assembly was very informational for the campers, and many of the Toads participated in answering questions. In this coming week the campers will create a wacky game show. There will also be a volleyball clinic for those who signed up! We can’t wait for week 3!
	Snakes-
	This week the snakes had a great time. Many friends were reunited and many new friendships were formed. Campers enjoyed a wide array of activities including rock wall, race track, creek walking, kayaking, canoeing, arts and crafts, swimming, and gaga. This week was soccer clinic week and the snakes dominated the field against the Geckos and Lizards. Some of the highlights of our week included Karaoke Day, a tropical duel slip and slid, chicken finger day, and an enlightening assembly that emphasized the importance of showing respect for our family, friends, people we do not know, and the environment. We also had our own group talk about respect and the Golden Rule: “treat others how you want to be treated.” The Snakes are an amazing group of kids and we look forward to spending the summer together!!
	Lizards-
	This was the first week that the Lizards had a full group. The kids had a lot of fun with all the activities that were planning for the week. Gaga seems to be the favorite activity with all the campers. Each week there is a different clinic for the kids to enjoy. This weeks clinic is the soccer clinic. On Wednesday, we had a guest speaker who taught the kids about RESPECT. The assembly consisted of different games and exercises that made learning about respect fun. The kids ended the week with a dual slip and slide, and cannot wait for it to come back! This week is just the beginning of a fun filled summer! !
	Alligators-
	This week the Alligators were together as a group for the first full week. This week we enjoyed activities together such as kayaking and riding cars at race track. We were also lucky enough to have special activities. One thing we got to enjoy is the RESPECT program where we learned about how to respect not only our friends and family but the environment around us. The alligators also enjoyed the dual lane slip and slide where they got to race their friends to the big pool at the end. We all had a lot of fun this week together and cant wait to spend the rest of the summer together!
	Crocodiles-
	We had an exciting and adventurous week two. The week began at archery as we took our first shorts at target practice. We crocodiles then took our talents to the karaoke machine as we sang to our favorite artists, such as Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber. Since we are learning how to honor and respect one another, we attended the RESPECT program assembly. There we learned how to have healthy relationships, healthy bodies, and a healthy earth! We crocodiles competed hard in our athletics games and during race track races. Afterward, we cooled down by swimming, creek walking, and splashing each other at the creek and pool. We couldn’t wait for chicken finger day and we also are so excited for next week! See ya then!

	Rookies-
	The Rookies had an excellent week. They are coming together as a group, especially after we did participate in the RESPECT program and team building activities. They held their own against the rest of senior camp and even almost beat senior varsity in a relay race. We CANT WAIT for more soccer and gaga next week!
	All Stars-
	We kicked off week two at waterfront, kayaking, and creek walking. We played games such as soccer and polo and then headed to the pool to cool off. After everyone was tested on their swimming skills, the kids were split into groups after that they were ready for their swimming lessons!! Monday we had a karaoke party and Wednesday we watched an assembly about respect where we learned to respect each other and take care of our environment. We were so excited to have chicken fingers for lunch and go on the slip and slide on Friday!!! td>
	Champs-
	The Champs had an exciting week as camp finally is back in full swing. They participated in many athletics, created bracelets in arts and crafts, and even hit many bulls-eyes in archery. On Wednesday we had a respect assemble where the Champs learned about respecting their selves, their peers, and the environment. On Friday we had a tropical water slide to cool down. It’s going to be a hot and wild summer! .
	Varsity-
	This week was an exciting and eventful week at camp. The kids enjoyed playing soccer on Monday. On Wednesday, the kids had a huge water fight at waterfront. Their favorite part of being was when they got to soak their counselors. Lastly, on Friday there was a Tropical Slip and Slide. We all had so much fun and can’t wait for next week!!
	Sr. Varsity-
	With everyone adjusted to our schedule, week two flew by effortlessly. We enjoyed many intense sports and games, including handball, soccer, and a counselor invented relay challenge that everyone tested their skills at. On Wednesday, we were visited by a RESPECT program. We learned all about respect for our peers, family, and counselors. To end the week, we enjoyed the tropical slip and slide. This is a camp favorite and a prefect way to start the weekend. Have a great weekend and come prepared for more fun activities on Monday!
	CIT-
	It is so nice to be back at camp!!! This week Mr. Sean returned in all his glory to enjoy yet another successful summer guiding the CIT’s through the daring waters of becoming a counselor. The CITs this week picked up right where they left off last year by doing an incredible job assisting their assigned counselors. The CITs also enjoyed a RESPECT program on Wednesday afternoon that will set the tone for the rest of the summer. The highlight of the week was a team building exercise at Adventure on which the CITs successfully met the “cargo-net challenge” by getting the groups across the cargo net safely with some campers designated as unable to use their arms, legs, and or eyes. Congrats on another successful week. See you all for week three!!

Wow! What a great first week of camp! The weather has been great and the campers had a blast getting to know one another and their counselors. We are looking forward to next week!

*When dropping off at the camp please park on the left hand side of the parking lot if you need to get out with your camper. Otherwise you can just follow the arrows for drop off and pick up.
*If you are ordering Hot Lunch please place your order with the camp by 9am on Monday for the week. Attached is an order form if you wish to do this.
*Please apply sunscreen to your camper(s) in the morning before they come to camp and we will reapply frequently throughout the day. Thanks!

	Tadpoles-
	What a great start to a wonderful summer! Even though we tried everything the most interesting activity for us was in nature. WE were able to touch, see, listen, and collect things that were interesting to us! We look forward to learning, exploring, and going above our limits of trying new things this summer! See you next week!
	Turtles-
	It has been an exciting first week of camp for the, Turtles! We tried lots of fun activities! Some of our favorites were: kayaking, playing gaga, and our course swimming in the pool! We met lots of new friends and built a sense of community in our group by saying nice things to one another as part of our new respect program we look forward to our second week of camp next week! Have a great week!
	Geckos-
	What a great first week for the Geckos! They already have made so many new friends. So far we have enjoyed waterfront, kayaking and squirting their counselors with the water toys. During our arts and crafts period we discovered a super cool spider, and a TON of minnows at nature. Athletics has also been a lot of fun; we learned a new game and played keep away with the soccer ball. It was so much fun! This year at Malvern Day Camp we have a new program called the respect program. This week we talked about bullying and what to do if one of our friends is bullied. The Geckos made a list of what they would say to a bully and we also decided that we should not bully back, instead we should always go to a grown up for help! We cannot wait for more campers to join our group next week!!!
	Frogs-
	This week was the first week of camp and it was an enjoyable one. The frogs made murals for their bunks in arts and crafts. They also got to enjoy wall climb where the frogs were able to climb the rock wall and reach all the way to the TOP! We also got to enjoy a special treat this first week which was a sports obstacle course, where we raced each other and determined who would be the winner at the end! This was an eventful week for the frogs and we are excited to see what is in store for the upcoming weeks.
	Toads-
	This week, since there were a limited number of campers, the Toads and the Snakes combined to form one awesome group! There were 5 to 6 campers in our group this week and 3 counselors. We all got to know each other very well. The campers enjoyed various activities starting with slushies on Monday and ending with an obstacle course and pizza day at the end of the week. New campers stepped outside of their comfort zones and tried lots of new and exciting things like rock climbing and kayaking. All of the campers enjoyed Malvern Day Camp classics like Gaga, swimming, the water park, and mini golf! Also, we have been setting aside time each day to talk about the importance of treating everyone with respect, which will be an important theme for us throughout the course of the summer. WE had a lot of fun this week and look forward to all of the fun and exciting things camp has planned for the rest of the summer!

	Lizards-
	The Lizallidiles had a great first week! All of us were excited to get back to cap and see all of our friends. On the first day we all enjoyed slushies at snack. The group played a few games of soccer which they all played really well in. On Thursday, the Lizallidiles flew through the all star obstacle course and even raced some of their counselors. During one of our free periods we played the respect name game where we all held hands and said something respectful about the person next to us. Next week will be just as fun, the kids are all excited for chicken finger day!!! !

	As the school year is coming to an end, the groups of senior camp combined to form one big group. We started Monday off with slushies and the camp tradition of gaga. On Thursday, we had the sports obstacle course. The kids had a blast. Lastly, Friday had the much anticipated PIZZA DAY, that all the kids love. See you next week!

WOW what a really HOT HOT week!!! We have been able to stay cool while playing in pool, creek, or playing in the air conditioned gym. I am definitely hoping for a cooler week 7! We did have a great time on the water slide moonbounce and all of the campers did a great job at the Camp Idol. Each group chose a song and then they got a chance to perform for the camp! We look forward to having a great rest of the summer!!!

	Tadpoles-
	With week 6 in the books, we can not believe that the first half of the summer is over. We are still going to enjoy everything we can. The biggest problem this week was the HEAT! With a heat index over 100 degrees this week, we had a lot of fun enjoying a lot of water activities and air conditioning! We also applied sunscreen extra times, it was more like 4-5 times a day! On Wednesday we all got to slide down the Giant Double Splash…That was a refreshing slide! On Thursday we got to show off our singing talents during the Camp Idol and show off our dance moves at our dance party we had in the gym! Hopefully week 7 is cooler so we can enjoy more outdoor activities!!!! See you all next week!
	Turtles-
	Week 6 was a really hot one! All week we got the chance to have extra long swim time and water activities! We had our lacrosse clinic and a special Giant Double Waterslide. We had a blast racing our friends and counselors! On Thursday our group performed the “Spongebob Square Pants Song” on stage for Camp Idol. We did a great job and even pretended to be fish flopping on the dock. See you Week 7 for another great week!
	Geckos-
	This has been such a hot week for the Geckos. They loved playing in the water all week long. We played in a sprinkler and played lots of Drip, Drip, Drop. It’s just liked Duck, Duck, Goose, but with water. We also loved playing at Nature in the creek. We found lots of sticks and shrews. On Wednesday we had a waterslide! We raced each other down the slide since it was a Giant Double Waterslide. We also had Camp Idol on Thursday. The Geckos chose to sing, “Hey, Soul Sister”. They did a great job singing it to the camp! Even though the weather was hot this week, the Geckos had a blast staying cool!
	Frogs-
	Week 6 was absolutely blazing both with fun and with heat. We had the Giant Double Waterslide, which was the highlight of the week. Even with the heat the lacrosse clinic still happened, which was run by our own Frogs counselor, Will. Camp Idol became a huge sing-along when we sang, “Boom Boom Pow”. Swaying and rocking along to the other groups was fun too. To beat the heat we swam and stayed cool in the air-conditioning. Even though it was a hot week, our fun was the one that blew up the camp!
	Toads-
	During camp this week it was extremely hot so in order to stay cool the campers enjoyed a Giant Double Waterslide. Due to the extremely hot temperatures this week the normal camp schedule was modified to a Heat Wave schedule where the Toads got to splash around in the pool. This week the campers got the chance to participate in a talent show called, Camp Idol. The toads chose the song, “Tik Tok” by Ke$ha and performed the song in the gym. We hope that you enjoy your weekend!
	Snakes-
	This week the Snakes returned to their normal schedule after a fun-filled week of Iron Kid! Since the temperature has been extremely high all week, the Snakes have been switched to Heat Wave schedule which includes swimming, creek walking, canoeing, art, computers, and activities in the air-conditioned gym! The Snakes have been very careful with their sun screening and water intake. Highlights of this week include: a moon bounce water slide, Pizza Day, and Camp Idol, in which the Snakes performed the song, “Dynamite”! Also, the Snakes caught a frog named Alice and built a habitat for her with Miss Chris. As usual, we have been emphasizing the importance of respecting each other and treating others how we want to be treated.
	Lizards-
	This week at the Malvern Day Camp was a hot one! The kids seemed to enjoy themselves with all the water games on Monday and Tuesday. We had water fights on Wednesday at Giant Double Waterslide. All the kids went crazy and had a blast! They were having so much fun at the slide they didn’t want to leave! Thursday we had Camp Idol where we sang, “Party in the USA” by Miley Cyrus. All the kids were singing and dancing. They did great and had a blast! We also had a dance party in the gym! We had a fun week!
	Alligators-
	This week the Alligators had fun, different activities. Since it was a hot week, we played plenty of games in the water and air-conditioning. On Wednesday we got to enjoy the dual water slide where we got to race our friends to the bottom. We also got to show off our singing voices in Camp Idol where we sang “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. We enjoyed the change in schedule but can’t wait to get back to our original activities. We had fun this week but can’t wait to see what’s in store for next week!
	Crocodiles-
	It has been a hot one at camp this week. Instead of following our usual schedule, we used a special Heat Wave routine. We spent a bunch of time swimming in the pool, water park, and the creek. When the crocodiles were not outside, we enjoyed doing crafts, or playing in the gym. We played our usual Respect Name Game, slid down a water slide, and participated in the First Annual Malvern Day Camp Idol singing competition. It was a very hot, but enjoyable week at camp.

	Rookies-
	The Rookies numbers swelled to a solid twenty-three campers as we ended the oppressive heat and humidity all week. Extra swim and waterfront periods were the call for cooling activities, but Camp Idol heated things right back up. “Just Dance”, “Dynamite”, and “Wake Up” brought the house down!
	All Stars-
	This week was a scorcher for our group! We had two slides and spent a lot of time in the pool. The highlight of our week was Camp Idol! Our group performed songs by Katy Perry and we had a lot of fun showing off our talents! Next week we have the Human Board game and Luau but more importantly- Power House Dance Party! Get on your dancing shoes campers! td>
	Champs-
	It’s been a hot week for the Champs! We have been keeping cool with plenty of water activities such as kayaking, creek walking, swimming, and an intense game of Drip, Drip, Drop turned into a water fight. On Wednesday we had a Giant Double Waterslide for the Champs to cool off. Thursday we had Camp Idol and Friday we enjoyed Pizza Day! Stay cool, Champs! .
	Varsity-
	This week was another fun-filled week for your Varsity Campers and counselors. The main focus of this week was staying cool in the midst of an incredible heat wave. To stay cool we slide down a Giant Double Waterslide. If only you could see the smiles on your campers’ faces! Each afternoon we went on Heat Wave schedule, which put us at the pool and in the cool! One of the activities that your campers participated in while at the pool was Water Polo. Another great way to keep us cool was our effective use of the gym, which is air-conditioned, of course. We rehearsed and then performed, “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen during our Camp Idol competition. You’ll be happy to know that Varsity’s rendition of Queen’s hit took first place! Following the Idol competition, we partied it up in the Malvern Day Camp’s first-of-the-summer Dance Party! This was a sneak peek of next Friday’s Dance Party! As always, Varsity’s campers and counselors enjoyed great week. Of course, we all are looking forward to next week! Until then…
	Sr. Varsity-
	Sr. Varsity came back from Iron Kid Week ready to be back with our group. We tried our best to stay cool during this hot week and had the Giant Double Waterslide to help us stay cool. We also had an entertaining Camp Idol where we performed songs for the camp. Great job to our Taylor Swift fan girls and have a great weekend!
	CIT-
	CITs beat the heat this week by enjoying time in the pool, drinking plenty of water, and dancing it up in the air-conditioned gym. We’re excited for pizza on Friday and some cooler temperatures!

Wow this was a hot week! We definitely made the best of it with more water play and some air conditioning! All of the campers brought their singing voices for karaoke day on Tuesday and Thursday. On Wednesday we all cooled off on the Ripcurl slide. It was a fun time for all! We are hoping for a cooler week….however, we do love heat wave schedule when we get to swim more each day!!!

	Tadpoles-
	What a fun and exciting week the Tadpoles had. They were so excited on Monday because they finally got to meet their other counselor, Mr. Dave. Even though it’s been so hot this week, the Tadpoles have really enjoyed the week. They loved singing Taylor Swift songs during Karaoke Day and we all stayed cool on the water slide on Wednesday. They loved going down so fast then making a big splash at the bottom. This week the Tadpoles spent a lot of time in the pool, which happens to be their favorite activity of the day. They are so excited for next week to come!
	Turtles-
	The Turtles had a blast during the second week of camp. Riley and Ally brought their singing voices during junior camp Karaoke Day, while Break Dancing Joseph and Smooth Moves Matthew taught everyone their cool dance moves. We also had a lot of fun in the water this week. We had our first swimming lessons and spent a lot of time in the pool on the heat wave schedule. Last but not least, the Rip curl water slide was certainly the highlight of week two because everyone had a great time and no one wanted to ever leave! We can’t wait for week three!
	Geckos-
	For many of the Geckos week two was actually week one. The returning campers eased the transition for the new comers by explaining games and helping them with camp procedures. Throughout the week the Geckos began to grow and mesh as a group. It was great to see new friendships forming. This week the kids got to sing their favorite songs on Karaoke Day and race down the rip curl slide, both of which were enjoyed by all. Some of the camper’s favorite activities this week were playground, waterfront, and free swim! Also with lots of talk about the World Cup flying around camp, some of the Geckos participated in soccer clinic and got to sharpen up their skills on the soccer field. All in all the Geckos had a great week; we look forward to many more fun activities and bonding as a group!
	Frogs-
	This week the Frogs had a full group with both new campers and campers that were here from last week. On Monday the new campers were tested to see what level they would be in the pool. All campers also had swimming lessons and the Frogs group did a great job with their lessons. It has also been very hot week weather wise. The group has been staying cool with extra swim time and extra special time in the water park! There were two special events this week: on Tuesday, was the junior camp karaoke day and Wednesday we had a water slide come to camp. Both events went very well and both seemed to be favorites by all the campers!
	Toads-
	This week was filled with fun activities for all the toads. On Monday, we climbed up the Rock Wall with Mr. Tim and got a lollipop when we reached the top. We also got to take the kayaks out on the creek. On Tuesday we went walking in the creek and found lots of crayfish at nature. We had lots of fun getting socked in the water parks after lunch too! Wednesday and Thursday were extremely hot, so we spent most of our day in the water and gym. On Wednesday we had a huge waterslide that we finshed out the day on and we finished out our week with a few fun games of Gaga, went to the playground, and made fun banners in arts and crafts to hang in our bunk. This week we also had fun singing at karaoke in the gym, where we showed off our fabulous voices! We can’t wait for week three!
	Snakes-
	This week the snakes enjoyed some real special activities all together. On Monday everyone got to show off their singing voices by singing some High School Musical 2 during karaoke. Another special activity was the Rip Curl slide on Wednesday. Everyone enjoyed going down the slide and getting soaking wet. Also some of our friends got the chance to learn some new soccer skills in soccer clinic. Every snake got to participate in making our bunk decorative with two beautiful banners and posters. This week was a blast and we are all excited to see what’s in store next week!
	Lizards-
	This week was a very good week for the Lizards! We spent a lot of time hanging out in the pool and working on our swimming with the lifeguards. The kids are doing a great job and are having an awesome time with all their new friends at Malvern Day Camp! We can’t wait till next week because we have two of our favorite activities on the calendar Super Hero Day and The Right Price game show! See everyone next week! 	Alligators-
	The Alligators had a lot of fun this week! It was the first week of camp for most of the group but everyone has become great friends instantly! The girls loved going on the Rip curl slide to cool off from the heat, and the boys’ favorite activities were Gaga and handball. Due to the hot weather on Wednesday we used the “Heat Wave Schedule”. This meant a lot of pool time which was everyone’s favorite. Everyone had fun playing with the counselors in the pool as well. Another activity that we all enjoyed and participated in was waterfront. Mr. Ryan took the kids all the way down the creek in the kayaks and some decided to creek walk. It was tiring but a lot of fun for all!
	Crocodiles-
	This was a great week for the Crocodiles! We all made a lot of new friends, animal and children alike, such as the bug we saw at nature! Bryce was the mastermind behind solving our rope- swing challenge at adventure and Zoe accomplished her first time in a kayak, paddling by herself and making it pretty far up the river! We all had a blast sliding down the waterslide, making pastel pictures and flags in art and on Thursday we even got to sing our favorite songs at karaoke! It was a great week for the Crocs!

	Rookies-
	This week at camp we had a giant water slide. That was a lot of fun. We also kayaked and swam all the way down the creek. Because of the heat we had extra swim time on Wednesday and Thursday. It was so much fun to cool off by splashing around in the pool! We also sang the some hit songs at karaoke and ate tons of chicken fingers at lunch on Friday!.
	All Stars-
	It was a great week to be an All Star! We kept cool on Wednesday and Thursday when we were on heat wave schedule by spending a bunch of time kayaking in the creek. Adventure is definitely one of our favorite activities because we get to do the obstacle course where we learn to work together. We have a bunch of talented kids who also showed off their awesome voices to some Lady Gaga on karaoke day! We had a great week and can’t wait to see what week three has to offer! td>
	Champs-
	This week was a hot one! To cool off the Champs participated in a Rip Curl water slide and plenty of swimming. Everybody got to know one another as camp started in earnest. We sang songs on karaoke day; creek walked, and played the ever so famous game of gaga. The champs are all looking forward to the rest of the summer!
	Varsity-
	The second week has been a lot of fun! The kids got to see crayfish at nature and on Wednesday, they went on a huge water slide, which everyone really enjoyed. The groups’ favorite activity this week has been manhunt on the adventure course. Everyone is always asking to play during any free time we get. Also, this week was soccer clinic and everyone who went really enjoyed it. We can’t wait to see what next week will bring us at Malvern Day Camp!
	Sr. Varsity-
	The weather has been hot but Sr. Varsity has been keeping cool and spending lots of time at the pool and the creek. We also spent some time on the Rip Curl Slide and singing karaoke during our Sr. Camp theme day. This has been a good start to the summer and there is so much more in store for us. Next week we can’t wait for the Right Price Game show and the return of the infamous WILD RAPIDS!
	CIT-
	Each week we will be featuring two CITs and the adventures they came across this week at the Malvern Day Camp. This weeks fun filled adventures are from the eyes and ears of Katie and Ryan here is what they had to say: Katie says: This week the CITs hung out with Jr. Camp and had lots of fun training to be counselors. I was with the Turtles, who all really enjoyed the water park. In the afternoon, the CITS especially liked the waterslide on Wednesday and in Arts and Crafts! Ryan says: I was with the toads this week and I liked that we played a lot on the playground. I also enjoyed the waterslide because the cold water felt good against the blazing hot sun we have had recently.
