Some kids have improved so much during swim lessons that the lifeguards have moved them up a level in the pool. Everybody had a great time cheering on their team during the Twisted Sports Spin O game on Wednesday as well. The kids showed o their sports knowledge and athletic ability while they competed in the whacky challenges during the game show. Games of kickball, baseball, freeze- tag, and even the MDC original “Find Mr. Rob” have given the kids ample opportunity to run o all their energy. Everyone’s looking forward to a visit from the Philly Phanatic next week!

The turtles had another great week! We had a lot of fun playing in the creek and on the playground as always, but we also got introduced to a new game this week –“Find Mr. Rob”, and it was so much fun! Matthew had the best eyes and found him the first day while Carter found him the second day. We also had a ton of fun at the game show on Wednesday and we can’t wait to see what next week has in store!

The Geckos are all becoming some great swimmers because of swim lessons! Pretty soon they will all be swimming in the deep end! We are all looking forward to seeing the Philly Phanatic next week.

CIT-

The CIT’s are now on week 8 and have adjusted to their schedule extremely well, since the program is designed for CIT’s to one day become counselors. They have all understood and followed through with their responsibilities. All of the counselors speak extremely high of all the CIT’s, which again shows how they are all doing a tremendous job. In the afternoon we continue to have fun and participate in our own activities. We look forward to our baseball clinic next week and the camper vs. counselor game.
